Origin: London, England

Source: Isabella Beeton, 1861

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. For this beverage the ginger beer must be in an effervescing state, and the beer not in the least turned or sour.
  2. Mix them together, and drink immediately.
  3. The draught is refreshing and wholesome, as the ginger corrects the action of the beer.
  4. It does not deteriorate by standing a little, but, of course, is better when taken fresh.
