Beer Soup (Soupe à la Bière, German cookery)

Ingredients
- 175 grammes blond roux
- 1 and three quarter litres light beer
- 12 grammes salt
- a pinch of pepper
- 15 grammes powdered sugar
- a small pinch of powdered cinnamon
- 2 and a half decilitres double cream
- slices of grilled bread
Instructions
- Slake 175 grammes of blond roux with 1 and three quarter litres of light beer.
- Season with 12 grammes of salt, a pinch of pepper, 15 grammes of powdered sugar and a small pinch of powdered cinnamon, and bring to the boil.
- Finish at the moment of serving with 2 and a half decilitres of double cream.
- Pour boiling over slices of grilled bread.
