Vin chaud (Hot Spiced Red Wine)

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Pour a bottle of red wine over 200 grammes of lump sugar in a copper pan, and dissolve the sugar.
  2. Add a lemon zest, a fragment of cinnamon and of mace, and a clove.
  3. Heat the wine until it covers itself with a fine foam.
  4. Pass it through a fine chinois.
  5. Serve with a thin slice of lemon in each glass.
