Œufs Lully (Fried Eggs on Ham and Toast with Macaroni and Tomato)

Instructions

  1. Cook the eggs in the pan and cut them out with a plain round cutter.
  2. Sauté slices of raw ham in butter, cut to the same shape as the eggs.
  3. Set each slice of ham on a toast of the same dimensions and shape, and place an egg on the ham.
  4. Arrange the eggs in a circle on a dish.
  5. Melt the crushed tomatoes in butter and add them to bound and buttered macaroni.
  6. Garnish the centre of the dish with this macaroni.
