Allumettes (Pastry Straws for Hors-d'Œuvre)

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut the half-puff pastry, or the puff pastry trimmings, into rectangles 7 centimètres long, 2 1/2 centimètres wide and 7 to 8 millimètres thick.
  2. Season the fish forcemeat up with Cayenne and mask the rectangles with a light coating of it.
  3. Bake in a slow oven.
  4. Name the allumettes according to the forcemeat used.
