Piroguis au Gibier (Game Piroguis)

Instructions

  1. Roll feuilletage half a centimetre thick and cut as many round sheets 10 centimetres in diameter as there are Piroguis to make, plus the same number for covering.
  2. Toss the game hachis in butter and mix it with chopped hard-boiled eggs and buckwheat kache, or simply cooked rice.
  3. Place the filling in the middle of the rounds and moisten the edges lightly.
  4. Cover with sheets of feuilletage of the same dimensions and thickness.
  5. Brush with egg-wash and bake 15 minutes in a hot oven.
