Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Slake the 500 grammes of flour with the 4 eggs and the litre and a quarter of milk.
  2. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  3. Heat roasting fat in a deep pan until very hot, pour in the batter and cook in the oven.
  4. If the joint is spit-roasted, take the pudding from the oven and set it under the joint so that it soaks up the juice and fat falling from it.
  5. Cut it into diamonds or squares and arrange it on the edges of the dish, around the joint.
