Fried Haddocks

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Clean and dry the fish well.
  2. Cut off the heads and tails.
  3. Take out the backbones.
  4. Cut each fish into three pieces.
  5. Coat the pieces with egg.
  6. Coat the egg-covered pieces with breadcrumbs.
  7. Fry them in boiling lard until a fine golden brown.
  8. Drain and dry them well.
  9. Serve with the same sauces as boiled haddocks.
