Common Tomata Sauce

Instructions

  1. Remove stalks from the tomatas and halve them.
  2. Gently squeeze out the seeds and watery pulp from the tomata halves.
  3. Stew them softly with the gravy or broth until completely melted, 30 to 45 minutes or longer as needed.
  4. Press the whole mixture through a hair-sieve.
  5. Heat it afresh, adding a little additional gravy if the sauce is too thick.
  6. Season with cayenne and salt.
  7. Serve very hot.
