Ingredients
- 12 whole new potatoes
- 1 heaping tablespoon butter
- 0.5 pint milk
- 10 drops onion juice
- salt
- pepper
- 1 teaspoon parsley
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes clean. Steam them until a fork pierces them easily. Dry them in heat for five minutes, then peel them.
- Meanwhile, prepare a sauce by heating the butter that has been rolled in flour with the rich milk, onion juice, salt, and pepper. The sauce must be bubbling when you add the potatoes.
- Throw the peeled potatoes into a skillet with the bubbling sauce and toss them gently for five minutes. Transfer to a deep dish, pour the gravy over them, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve very hot.
