Instructions

  1. Clean the inner pulp from the lemons, removing membranes and seeds without squeezing.
  2. Boil the water with one lemon's peel cut in a thin ribbon, then add the sugar.
  3. Remove the peel, add the pulp, and boil until thickened (a pearl forms and it turns white-wine colored).
  4. Store in a glass jar; dissolve by the spoonful in fresh water.
