1 cup milk
2 cups flour
2 teaspoonfuls baking powder
sugar
powdered cinnamon

Instructions

Beat together the egg, sugar, and butter (the size of a large egg) until light. Add the milk and flour mixture alternately—the flour should be combined with the baking powder and sifted together. Pour the batter into a pan. Sprinkle the top thickly with sugar and powdered cinnamon. Bake rather quickly, taking care not to scorch.
