Coffee Cake (Mrs. R. Heim.)

Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 cup sugar
- butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoonfuls baking powder
- sugar
- powdered cinnamon
Instructions
- Beat together until light one egg, one cup sugar, and butter the size of a large egg.
- Add alternately one cup milk, and two cups flour with two teaspoonfuls baking powder sifted in it.
- Put in a pan and sprinkle thickly all over the top with sugar and powdered cinnamon.
- Bake rather quickly but do not scorch.
