Pudding Pies

Instructions

  1. Acton gives this as a plainer version of the Pudding Pies on the same page, and prints only the quantities for it. Follow the method there, using these proportions instead.
  2. Proportions: One quart of new milk, five ounces of ground rice, butter, one ounce and a half (or more), four ounces of sugar, half a small nutmeg grated, a pinch of salt, four large eggs, and three ounces of currants.
