Minced Collops au Naturel

Ingredients
- 1 pound very tender rump steak
- pepper
- salt
- a little boiling water, broth, or gravy
Instructions
- Mince the rump steak finely.
- Season it with a moderate quantity of pepper and salt.
- Set it over a gentle fire and keep it stirred with a fork until it is quite hot, so that it does not gather into lumps.
- Simmer it very slowly in its own gravy for ten to twelve minutes.
- Should it become too dry, add a little boiling water, broth, or gravy.
- Stew for two minutes longer, and serve directly.
