Minced Collops au Naturel

Instructions

  1. Mince the rump steak finely.
  2. Season it with a moderate quantity of pepper and salt.
  3. Set it over a gentle fire and keep it stirred with a fork until it is quite hot, so that it does not gather into lumps.
  4. Simmer it very slowly in its own gravy for ten to twelve minutes.
  5. Should it become too dry, add a little boiling water, broth, or gravy.
  6. Stew for two minutes longer, and serve directly.
