Baked Fish on a Dish

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash, and dry several kinds of small fish (or thin fish-steak slices).
  2. Make a battuto of garlic and parsley and combine with salt, pepper, oil, lemon juice, and white wine.
  3. Spread half the battuto and a little oil in an ovenproof dish, lay the fish on it, then pour over the rest so the fish is submerged.
  4. Cook with heat below and above (on embers if porcelain).
