Aromatic Little Maidens

Ingredients

• 180 g flour
• 2 tbsp oil
• 2 tbsp white wine or Marsala
• 5 leaves sage
• 1 egg
• salt
• oil or lard

Instructions

1. Chop the sage fine and knead it into the flour with the oil, wine, egg, and salt, keeping the dough soft.
2. Roll to a coin's thickness, cut into diamonds, and fry in oil or lard.
