Cat's Tongues

Ingredients

• 100 g butter
• 100 g white icing sugar
• 100 g Hungarian flour
• 1 egg white

Instructions

1. Cream the butter, then work in sugar, flour and egg white to a uniform paste.
2. Pipe finger-length pieces well apart on a lightly buttered pan.
3. Bake in a Dutch oven at moderate heat (about fifty).
