Ingredients
- peppered mixture (piperatum)
- honey
- merum (undiluted wine)
- passum (raisin wine)
- rue
- pine-kernels
- nuts
- emmer groats (alica)
- hazelnuts (nuces Abellanae)
Instructions
- To a peppered base add honey, undiluted wine, raisin wine and rue.
- Stir in pine-kernels, nuts and boiled emmer groats.
- Add chopped toasted hazelnuts and serve.
