Ingredients
- small fish (lagitae)
- eggs
- liquamen (Roman fermented fish sauce)
- wine
- oil
- oenogarum (plain wine-and-garum sauce)
- pepper
Instructions
- Scale and wash the fish; mix with beaten eggs.
- Add liquamen, wine and oil and bring to a boil.
- Pour over plain oenogarum, sprinkle pepper and serve.
