Ingredients
- grapes
- rainwater
- barley
Instructions
- Boil rainwater down to one-third.
- Place undamaged grapes in a vessel with the reduced water; pitch and gypsum-seal it.
- Store in a cool, sunless place; the grapes stay green. The liquid can serve the sick as a hydromel substitute.
- Alternatively, bury the grapes in barley to keep them sound.
