Ingredients
- black beets
- salt
- oil
- mulsum (honeyed wine)
- chicken
Instructions
- Wipe clean the roots of black beets.
- Boil in their own juice with a little salt and oil (or salt, water and oil).
- Serve as a broth to drink; better still if a chicken is boiled in it.
