Ingredients
- thrushes
- pepper
- laser (silphium/asafoetida)
- bay berry
- cumin
- garum (fermented fish sauce)
- olive oil
- salt
- water
- dill
- leek tops
Instructions
- Pound pepper, laser and bay berry; mix in cumin and garum.
- Stuff this into each thrush through the throat and tie with thread.
- Cook them in a broth of oil, salt, water, dill and leek tops.
