- pepper
- laser (silphium/asafoetida)
- liquamen (Roman fermented fish sauce)
Instructions
- Open and dress the turtledoves carefully.
- Pound pepper and laser with a little liquamen.
- Pour over the turtledoves so they soak it up, and roast them.
