Churros

Ingredients
- 500 ml water
- salt
- 40 g butter
- 500 g flour
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Pour 500 ml of water into a saucepan and place over medium heat.
- Add a pinch of salt and about 40 grams of butter.
- When the mixture begins to boil, remove from heat and stir in 500 grams of flour all at once.
- Continue stirring without pause, cooking the dough for a while until it becomes thick and pulls away cleanly from the sides of the pan.
- Transfer the dough to a churrera (churro piping device).
- Fry the churros in very hot, abundant oil.
