Instructions

  1. Pour 1 liter of 90-proof alcohol into a large glass jar. Add 1 gram of clove and 1 gram of ground cinnamon. Add 1 kilogram of ripe sour cherries (stems removed). Let macerate for about 20 days, covered.
  2. After 20 days, add 1 kilogram of pilón (loaf sugar) and 0.5 liter of water. Let stand for 10 days or longer.
  3. Filter the liqueur and bottle it.
