Cherry Liqueur

Ingredients
- 1 liter alcohol
- 1 gram clove
- 1 gram ground cinnamon
- 1 kilogram sour cherries (guindas)
- 1 kilogram sugar
- 0.5 liter water
Instructions
- Pour 1 liter of 90-proof alcohol into a large glass jar. Add 1 gram of clove and 1 gram of ground cinnamon. Add 1 kilogram of ripe sour cherries (stems removed). Let macerate for about 20 days, covered.
- After 20 days, add 1 kilogram of pilón (loaf sugar) and 0.5 liter of water. Let stand for 10 days or longer.
- Filter the liqueur and bottle it.
