Instructions

  1. Mix the lard and sugar together. Combine the white flour, ground sweet almonds, and cleaned Corinth raisins. Fold the well-beaten, fluffy eggs into the lard and sugar mixture.
  2. Stir everything together with a wooden spatula. Pour the batter into a tall, round mold that has been previously greased with lard and dusted with flour.
  3. Bake until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
