Source: Anonymous, 1920
Ingredients
- 100 g beef lard (manteca de vaca)
- 100 g flour
- 100 g sugar
- 3 eggs
Instructions
- Beat the lard very thoroughly until pale and fluffy. Mix in the sugar. Add the three egg yolks, beaten well. Fold in the three egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks.
- Prepare a ring mold (bundt-style, with a center tube that creates a hollow in the finished cake). Butter the mold well. Pour in the batter and bake in the oven until a skewer inserted in the thickest part comes out clean.
