  1. Crush and press the strawberries well. Place them in a sieve or fine strainer. Dissolve the pilón sugar (unrefined cane sugar) in the boiling water and pour it over the strawberries in the sieve, allowing all the juice to drain through and be collected. Cover the mixture well and let it cool completely. Once cooled, add the alcohol and stir everything together. Let the mixture stand for about two days, then strain through a fine filter into clean bottles.
