Instructions

  1. Weigh out equal amounts of sugar and strawberries.
  2. Clean the strawberries thoroughly, remove the hulls, and place them in a pot with cold water.
  3. Bring to a boil; as soon as they reach a rolling boil, remove from heat, drain well, and pass through a sieve.
  4. Return the fruit pulp to the pot and bring to a simmer until it thickens slightly.
  5. Add the sugar and continue boiling, stirring constantly to prevent sticking, until the jam reaches the desired consistency.
