Boiled Lobster

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with water and salt. Bring to a boil. Place the whole lobster, firmly tied, into the boiling water. Let it boil for half an hour. Remove the lobster and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Once cooled, remove the shell and the dark vein (intestinal tract). Cut the meat into thick slices and arrange them on a serving plate. Serve with mayonnaise on the side in a sauceboat, or cover the arranged lobster with mayonnaise.
