Jumble Cake

Ingredients
- 1 teacup butter
- 1.5 teacups sugar
- 1.5 pints flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoonfuls cinnamon
- 0.5 teacup almonds, chopped fine
- 2 teaspoonfuls yeast powder
Instructions
- Beat the butter, sugar, and eggs together until well combined.
- Add the flour sifted with yeast powder to the butter mixture.
- Incorporate the cinnamon and almonds into the dough.
- Work the whole mixture well together.
- Roll the dough on a board to a thickness of half an inch.
- Cut the dough into pieces a finger's length long.
- Join the ends of each piece together to form rounds.
- Grease baking pans with butter and place the shaped jumbles on them.
- Bake until done.
