Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Break four eggs into a bowl and beat them with a cup of milk, two ounces of butter, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper.
  2. Mix in wheat flour until the batter becomes a firm dough.
  3. Shape the dough into little balls the size of an olive, roll them in flour, and fry them in butter.
  4. Place the dumplings in the tureen.
  5. Pour over them very hot broth into which pepper and a beaten egg have been stirred.
