Colossal Egg

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Take two inflated, dried bladders, one smaller than the other.
  2. Separate eggs; fill the smaller bladder with yolks, close it round, and cook in boiling water until the yolk is hard.
  3. Break the bladder, extract the shaped yolk, and place it inside the larger bladder previously filled with whites so the yolk sits centered.
  4. Close the larger bladder round and cook in boiling water until the white is firm.
  5. Break the bladder to release the colossal egg; serve on a piquant sauce garnished with parsley and dressed lettuce hearts.
