Instructions

  1. Slice the small rolls (panecillos) into rounds. Soak them thoroughly in milk and let them rest until well absorbed.
  2. Coat the soaked bread slices in beaten egg, then fry them until golden.
  3. When serving, dust them with sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Alternatively, arrange the fried torrijas in an oven dish and instead of sugar dust, drizzle them with equal parts water and honey (miel de abejas), then finish in the oven.
