Empanadas with Milk

Ingredients
- 1 cup manteca (lard)
- 1 cup milk
- to taste salt
- flour
Instructions
- Melt the beef lard in a bowl.
- Once completely melted, add one cup of milk and salt.
- Beat vigorously, adding flour gradually to achieve the proper consistency, and work the dough until it becomes fine and smooth.
- Transfer the dough to a marble work surface, roll it out thin with a rolling pin, and shape the empanadas (small pastries) as desired, filling and sealing them in the traditional manner.
