Source: Anonymous, 1920
Ingredients
- chicken breast
- fresh ham
- salt
- pepper
- onion
- a little lard
- puff pastry
- a little pan juices or gravy
Instructions
- Mince the chicken breasts and fresh ham together. Season with salt, pepper, and chopped onion.
- In a saucepan, warm the minced mixture gently in a little lard, stirring until cooked through. Divide into as many portions as bocadillos you wish to make.
- Place each portion between two sheets of puff pastry. Press the edges firmly to seal them. Brush with egg wash (implied by "se doran") and place in the oven until golden and cooked through.
- When baked, lift the top pastry layer slightly and spoon a little pan juices inside. Serve the bocadillos while still hot.
