Ingredients

Instructions
- Rub and halve the apples, then place them in a pot with water and bring to a boil.
- Pass the cooked apples through a fine sieve (tamiz).
- Measure the strained apple juice and add an equal quantity of sugar.
- Over low heat, let the mixture simmer for several hours, stirring occasionally, until it reaches the proper consistency—thick enough to hold its shape on a spoon.
