Sour Cherries in Brandy

Ingredients
- 1 kg sour cherries (guindas)
- 200 g white sugar
- cinnamon sticks
- aguardiente (dry brandy, first quality)
Instructions
- Remove the stems from the sour cherries.
- Rub them clean with a cloth.
- Place them in a wide-mouthed glass jar.
- For each kilogram of cherries, add two hundred grams of white sugar and a few cinnamon sticks.
- Fill the jar with dry aguardiente (brandy) of the first quality, ensuring the cherries are completely covered.
- After one month, they are ready to serve.
