  1. Place the powdered sugar and manteca (lard) on a work surface. Add the egg yolks and work all ingredients together by hand for three minutes until well combined.
  2. Sift the flour and fold it into the mixture along with the lemon juice drops. Continue working until the dough becomes compact and holds together.
  3. Using a rolling pin, flatten the dough to your desired thickness. Cut shapes using a round mold or cutter.
  4. Arrange the shaped dough on baking sheets and bake in a moderate oven until golden.
  5. Remove from the oven and dust generously with powdered sugar while still warm.
