Hake in Vinaigrette Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 piece hake (merluza)
- water
- to taste salt
- 1 carrot (zanahoria)
- 1 sprig parsley (perejil)
- 1 leek (puerro)
- 1 onion (cebolla)
- to taste vinegar (vinagre)
- vinaigrette sauce
- potatoes (patatas)
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot with salt. Add the carrot, parsley, leek, and onion. Place the piece of hake in the pot, ensuring it is completely covered with liquid. Add vinegar to the broth. Simmer for about half an hour until the fish is cooked through and tender.
- Carefully transfer the cooked hake to the serving dish. Cover it with vinaigrette sauce (a la vinagreta). Arrange the molded or steamed potatoes around the fish as garnish. Serve at once.
