Stewed Red Beans

Ingredients
- red beans (judías encarnadas)
- bacon (tocino)
- ham (jamón)
- 1 onion (cebolla)
- lard (manteca)
- flour (harina)
- 1 handful fresh parsley (perejil)
- salt
- black pepper (pimienta)
- red wine (vino tinto)
Instructions
- Cook the beans with bacon, ham, and onion until well cooked.
- When the beans are done, add a little lard and flour, along with the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Sauté the beans together, then moisten them with a little red wine.
- Let them cook for at least half an hour more, stirring frequently.
- Serve with the ham cut into small pieces and scattered over the beans.
