Chartreuse Liqueur (Another Formula)

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 liters of alcohol into a vessel and add one bottle of chartreuse essence.
  2. Dissolve 5 pounds of pilón sugar in 2.5 liters of water. This can be done over heat to speed the process. Once the sugar is completely dissolved, incorporate it into the alcohol and essence mixture.
  3. Add a few threads of saffron to give the liqueur color.
  4. Filter the mixture. After filtering, combine everything to ensure even color distribution, then bottle.
