Celestial Punch (Ponche Celestial)

Ingredients
- 9 lemon peels (cáscaras de limón), pared very thin
- 1/2 botella (bottle) cognac
- 30 lemons, juiced (zumo)
- 2 botellas (bottles) cognac
- 4 libras (pounds) ground sugar
- 4 botellas (bottles) distilled water
- 1 botella (bottle) boiling milk
Instructions
- Pare 9 lemon peels very thin and soak them in half a bottle of cognac for 24 hours.
- Mix the juice of 30 lemons with 2 bottles of cognac, 4 pounds of ground sugar, and 4 bottles of distilled water.
- Add a bottle of boiling milk to the infusion, stirring hard to prevent curdling.
- Let cool and strain through a flannel strainer.
- Put in a vessel and let ferment for ten days.
