Meat Stews or Entrees

Ingredients

• meat
• salt
• pepper
• butter or lard
• 1 pint water
• onions

Instructions

1. Cut your meat into inch pieces and put into a saucepan.
2. Season with salt, pepper, and butter or lard.
3. Add one pint of water per pound of meat.
4. Cook for one hour, unless the meat is very young, in which case less time is sufficient.
5. Add onions if liked.
