Oyster Loaves

Ingredients
- Little round loaves
- Oysters
- Crumbs
- a little Water
- a good lump Butter
- 1 spoonful Cream
Instructions
- Take little round loaves and cut off the tops. Scrape out all the crumbs from the interior.
- Put the oysters into a stew pan along with the crumbs that came out of the loaves, a little water, and a good lump of butter. Stew them together for ten or fifteen minutes.
- Stir in a spoonful of good cream. Fill your loaves with this mixture and lay the bit of crust carefully on again.
- Set them in the oven to crisp. Three are enough for a side dish.
