An English Plum Pudding

Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1 pound flour
- 1 pound powdered sugar
- 1 pound suet
- 1 pint milk
- 1 nutmeg
- 1 gill brandy
- 1 pound currants
- 1 pound raisins
Instructions
- Beat the eggs very light. Add the sifted flour and powdered sugar, mixing until it looks quite light. Stir in the finely shred suet, milk, grated nutmeg, and brandy. Mix in the currants and raisins. Tie the mixture in a thick cloth and boil it steadily for eight hours.
