An Excellent and Cheap Dessert Dish

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Wash a pint of small homony very clean and boil it tender.
  2. Add an equal quantity of corn meal.
  3. Make it into a batter with eggs, milk, and a piece of butter.
  4. Bake it like batter cakes on a griddle.
  5. Eat it with butter and molasses.
