A Nice Little Dish of Beef

Ingredients

• cold roast beef
• onion
• pepper
• salt
• good gravy
• potatoes
• butter

Instructions

1. Mince the cold roast beef very fine, combining both fat and lean meat. Add the chopped onion, pepper, and salt to taste, then mix in a little good gravy.
2. Fill scallop shells two parts full with this beef mixture. Top each shell with mashed potatoes that have been smoothed with cream, filling them to the rim.
3. Place a bit of butter on top of each shell and set them in an oven to brown.
