Tavern Biscuit

Ingredients
- 1 pound flour
- 0.5 pound sugar
- 0.5 pound butter
- mace
- nutmeg
- 1 glass brandy or wine
- milk
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, and butter. Add the powdered mace and nutmeg. Pour in the brandy or wine. Wet the mixture with milk and knead well until a dough forms. Roll the dough thin and cut into shapes. Bake quickly.
