Maccaroni Pudding

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Simmer half a pound of maccaroni in plenty of water with a table-spoonful of salt, till tender but not broke; then strain it.
  2. Beat five yelks and two whites of eggs with half a pint of cream.
  3. Mince white meat and boiled ham very fine, and add three spoonsful of grated cheese, pepper and salt.
  4. Mix these with the maccaroni.
  5. Butter the mould, put it in, and steam it in a pan of boiling water for an hour. Serve with rich gravy.
